diversity, self-esteem, and realistic representation of girls in the media
A campaign by girls, for girls.
Heard about this from DoSomething and thought it was absolutely brilliant. This new Spanish child abuse ad completely blows everything else out of the water.
The agency explains, “Knowing the average height for adults and children under 10, GREY has created two different messages. Using an outdoor lenticular we show adults an awareness message, while children see a message where we offer them our help and show them the telephone number. A message only for children.”
To adults, the ad reads, “Sometimes, child abuse is only visible to the child suffering it.” The message that’s only visible to children reads, “If somebody hurts you, phone us and we’ll help you.”
